First, jot down the USP of each and every competitor.
Perform a SWOT analysis to closely examine the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats related to your company.

Use Facebook’s Ad Library to spy on competitor ads. It lets you see competitors ads. It’s lets you see competitors ads they’re running on FB and IG.
- How long the ad has been running
- The type of content (image, video)
- The copy
This helps you understand what type of content to create.
This will show your competition’s analytics and online strategy. This is an estimate, but it provides GREAT INSIGHT:
- Global ranking
- Estimated page visits
- Top traffic sources
- Top social platform
Great insights to help you make informed decisions.
Like, wappalyzer (recent post) this website will give you the breakdown of a website’s technology.
The CMS, if they have google analytics installed, plugins used and so much more.
This tool is lit. Find your competitors top performing pages, search volume and more.
It has a free version where you can do a few searches per day, but it can be pricey if you are bootstrapping.
